The series is s et ten years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005), the series follows Kenobi as he sets out to rescue the kidnapped Princess Leia (Vivien Lyra Blair) from the Galactic Empire, leading to a confrontation with his former apprentice, Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen). More importantly, they wanted him to return with Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader. It explores both sides, and how much of an asset Andor is.įans have always wanted Ewan McGreggor to return as Obi-Wan Kenobi. It is a spy thriller directed by Tony Gilroy, and it highlights the beginning of the rebellion. Andor brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. The most recent Star Wars project to be released is the prequel series to Rogue One featuring Cassian Andor (Diego Luna). Imperial forces are hunting down the last of the Jedi Knights while a fledgling rebellion against the Empire is taking form. Star Wars: Rebels (2014)Īnother animated project that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves is Star Wars: Rebels. This series is probably the most linked to The Bad Batch. Beginning fourteen years after the Revenge of the Sith and five years before A New Hope, Rebels takes place during an era when the Galactic Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy. It had wonderful character arcs and the animation was a step forward for the Star Wars franchise. When this series ended, there was not a dry eye anywhere. Meanwhile, Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi lead the clone army against the forces of the Dark Side. Plotting against them is evil Count Dooku and his agent, Asajj Ventress, who would ensure that the Jedis fail.

As more star systems get swept into the Clone Wars, the valiant Jedi knights struggle to maintain order. The Clone Wars is one of the most beloved Star Wars series in the universe. There are some memorable cameos in this show that helped fans get through this series. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The travels of a lone bounty hunter in the outer reaches of the galaxy, far from the authority of the New Republic. They wanted him to get a spin-off so badly, and he finally got one - Book of Boba Fett. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order.īoba Fett has always been a fan favorite, and seeing him again in The Mandalorian was a real treat. Especially because Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni were behind it.
